The Bindweed or Our Lady's Glass
In an old Flemish folk tale, Mary rescues a carter whose wagon is stuck in the mud. She frees the cart, and together they drink wine from an enchanted flower of the Bindweed, which transforms into a glass. Since then, the flower bears the name Our Lady's Glass, a tribute to Mary's strength and miraculous assistance.
